At AHCC, we believe parents are the primary spiritual influencers of their children. Deuteronomy 6:6-9 gives the main responsibility for shepherding, teaching and growing kids to parents. Whether in the car, at the dinner table or in the chaos of life, parents are to be intentionally forming their kids in the ways of Jesus.
We believe the churches job is to come alongside parents and families to help equip them in this role. At AHCC, we do this through providing a Sunday morning program (Sunday Adventures), that includes a take home sheet for follow-up during the week. We also have a "Kid's Wall" with resources, books and tools for parents. Lastly, from time to time, we offer parenting and marriage classes to teach helpful principles and practices.

Children will be safe and feel safe, both physically and emotionally, so parents can rest assured their child is well cared for. (Mark 10:14)
We help kids take what they learned on Sunday and apply it to Monday. We teach them how to prayerfully bring their faith into their home, school, teams and everywhere else. (Hebrews 4:12-13)
We want kids to naturally connect the church with fun. We want them to see having fun as a way to worship God and enjoy the good gifts He's given us. (Ecclesiastes 8:15)

Parent Cue is an organization that seeks to equip parents with simple ways to make the most of the everyday moments they have with their kids to form them in the ways of Jesus.
The app includes a host of helpful resources that are easy to access on the run. Each week they provide a memory verse, faith video, parenting tips and a devotional. They also provide monthly resources and downloads along with annual insights on ways to help kids during each phase of childhood.
