2 Corinthians 5:17
Baptism Sunday

The sermon's message, titled "I Have Decided," asserts that Christian baptism is a profound act that serves as both a picture and a profession. As a picture, being immersed in water and rising out symbolizes the death of the old self and the resurrection into a brand new life in Christ, echoing the biblical truth of becoming a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). As a profession, baptism is a public declaration and a stake in the ground, showing that the believer is unashamed of their commitment to Jesus, making public the inward work God has done and proclaiming, "I have decided to follow him and I'm not turning back."
