Mission & Vision

Our mission at AHCC is to glorify God, grow disciples and serve the church through worship and the arts.

Sunday mornings are a time when we push back the distractions of life and devote our whole attention to God – listening to His message and expressing our heart-felt gratitude for Him. We use a contemporary style combined with new takes on hymns.

The worship ministry at Arbor Heights is currently looking to grow. There are a variety of opportunities for musicians, vocalists and sound engineers who are interested in nurturing and sharing in worship.

Philosophy of Worship
How we do worship at AHCC

At AHCC, we strive to worship God with our whole selves; mind, body, soul and strength. Our worship is:

  • Directed toward God
  • Driven by the gospel
  • Drawn from Scripture
  • Dependent on the Holy Spirit
  • Demonstrative in expression
  • Dedicated to each other

John 4:23-24

“The hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking people to worship Him.  God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
